9/26/2018 0 Comments morning do!![]() Sometimes, I just wake up and feel like there is an idea, or shape, or colors all floating freely through my mind as it moves from dream state to wakefulness. My desire to bring those fuzzy thoughts closer to being clear concepts is not a burning desire as much as a curiosity. Will this be the new 'thematic identity' seed that I am always on the lookout for? Usually not so much, as I surreptitiously coax myself to try and go back to sleep and then, that 'dream art' gets buried under thoughts of my demanding to-do list that keeps me from falling back asleep for 10 minutes! It seems a ponderous cycle of pondering, especially when your subconscious senses something 'really good' is in those drifting art thoughts just before dawn. Do you get inspiration at times of in-between-ness? When taking action and attempting a translation of these 'impressions', what do you grab? A marker? pen, brush?...those will come after the easy hardest step of all; getting back to the drifting consciousness while being fully aware of what you are uncovering in yourself! Artitation, is similar to meditation but loosely focused on cellular responses to emotions both detached and deeply rooted in your soul. Soul Impressions; abstractions? not really...because these images when they do get produced can be counted on to be representational in that they are depictions of those 'dream art thoughts', the one's you simply must let live for the sake of being inside out to yourself!
